RENT PARTY at The Meg Perry Center

Donation $5-10 at the door

The Flatbread Company and Peace Action Maine present a rent party benefit with Chriss Sutherland, Cursillistas, and Tempera at The Meg Perry Center, 644 Congress Street, Portland, Maine from 8:00 to 11:00 PM. This is an all ages event. There is a suggested donation of $5 to $10 at the door.

A member of Fire on Fire (formerly Cerberus Shoal and Threads), Chriss Sutherland will be featuring selections from his recent Digitalis label solo release, “Me in a ‘Field’.”

Cursillistas are veterans of The Meg Perry Center stage. A former solo project of Matt Lajoie, Matt is now joined onstage by bandmates Alyce Ornella (from Bird Microphone), and Ian Paige (from White Light). They will be featuring music from the new Cursillistas CD, “Wasp Stings the Bitter Flavor,” also on Digitalis.

Tempera is the duo of Corinna Marshall and Nick Barker, combining treated vocals and synthesizer textures to produce ambient washes of electronic music. Tempera records for L’Animaux Tryst Field Recordings, and are also veterans of the performance space at The Meg Perry Center.
