Hello fellow MaineShare members. I just want to make you aware of an upcoming event hosted by Maine Animal Coalition and ask for your assistance with getting the word out. Below are some details about the event. Thanks so much.

Maine Animal Coalition will be hosting its Fourth Annual Vegetarian Food Festival on Saturday, June 21st in Portland, Maine. The festival will consist of vegan food and product samples, guest speakers, exhibitors, displays, a raffle and more. This year our event will feature vegan food samples from the Pepper Club, Green Elephant Vegetarian Bistro, Betty Lou’s, Vega, Maine Coast Sea Vegetables, Bumble Bar, Primal Spirit Foods, Larabar, Crispy Cat Candy Bars, Road’s End Chreese and more. The guest speakers will be Jessica Porter, author of “The Hip Chick’s Guide to Macrobiotics”, who will speak about “Macrobiotics for the Vegetarian” and Paul Shapiro, Senior Director of the Factory Farming Campaign for the Humane Society of the United States, who will speak about “Advances for Farm Animals: How and Why We’re Winning.”
