Lateral Thinking

My boys,
   electronics wizards
      and friends to all citizens
         are going to invent
a new sort of guided missile.
   Its payload?
    	not the bombs dropped by bellicose generals,
            		but instead biscuits, baked by a kitchen militia,
            and bananas, butter, beans,
            coconuts cracked open to offer milky flesh,
            and yogurt, yes, yogurt,
            steaming soup,
            sourdough starter and sacks of
            flour and of course
            flowers.
   Oh the flowers which will fall
on that final day
    	that very final day
   erasing all famine
and ferocity.
