The humble Farmer television show, which is the radio show on television, is now being sent to 30 towns. If you don’t see it on cable in your town, they will run it if you ask. That’s the way it works. You can see the towns and times listed on my web page.
The footing for the solar collectors are in and I hope to build the rack this week. It should hold 49 panels just to generate electricity.
I am installing these solar collectors even though I realize that not paying for electricity is blatantly anti-business and that were I a state legislator, every chamber of commerce in Maine and the Republican lobby would put a black mark by my name.
The electrical collectors will be bolted to the south side of my henhouse and will be 17 feet wide and 19 feet from top to bottom and will hang at 45 degrees. The hot water heaters will be bolted to the house.
I know nothing about it but am going to have it and might even live long enough to understand how it works. I will never live long enough to pay for it.
Not that understanding how it works is important. What is important is knowing how to acquire it and make it work.
You might compare it to marriage.
There will be a workshop here Saturday and Sunday June 28 and 29 where I strongly suspect we will learn how to build the water heaters with our own two hands. I’ve never seen one, have you? Come if you can.
