At least one million children in Iraq have seen their lives ravaged by conflict. Please join me to support the work of one woman who is trying to help them.
Dear Friend,
I would like to invite you to the first showing of my video portrait, “Hear My Song, Kathy Kelly: Stories from Iraq” at the studio-theater in my home.
The evening will be a fundraiser to help Kathy Kelly, the subject of the video, publish a pamphlet about what can be done to help young victims of the Iraq War who have been torn from their homes and their families.

The McCain people have been sending out conflicting press releases but I have confirmed with police and the NONANTUM HOTEL (where John will be hosted by the elder Bushes for a $1,000.00 plate dinner) that he will be in town. It seems that we have done such a good job of organizing protests in Kennebunkport in the past that “they” wanted to throw us off.

BLUE HILL–When Larry Gibson used to see someone taking a photo of the mountains of Appalachia, he’d ask “Why?… The mountains would always be there.” But he was wrong. Four hundred seventy mountains have already been destroyed. Coal companies use explosives to blow up the tops of the mountains and dump the rock, or overburden, into the valleys. The companies extract coal from the open seam and then repeat the process, using more explosives to expose another seam. What were once the smallest mountains are now among the highest.
