The public is invited free of charge to workshops and demonstrations at “Energy Challenge: Facing the Winter and Beyond,” to be held at the Troy Howard Middle School on Saturday, September 6 from 9 until noon, followed by a picnic lunch. The event, sponsored by Waldo County candidate for State Senate Diane Messer, will include discussions on topics such as “bringing back the railroad” and “connecting the energy crisis to global climate change.”
