We will be holding a candlelight vigil on Friday night at 6 p.m. in Monument Square at the request of the family of James Angelo Okot, who was shot and killed this past weekend in Portland. The vigil will follow the wake and the Sudanese community will arrive to find the people of Greater Portland standing in support of them in their time of grief.
