Bowdoin College and United Nations Association of Maine proudly present Ambassador Thomas Pickering, Co-Chairman of UNA-USA, to Speak on “Priorities for the Next President of the US in Foreign and Security Policy” at the Kresge Auditorium, Visual Arts Center, Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine on September 16, 2008 at 7:00PM.

Thomas R. Pickering was the chief United States delegate to the United Nations from 1989-1992. In a diplomatic career spanning five decades, he served as US ambassador to the Russian Federation, India, Israel, Jordan, El Salvador, and Nigeria. He holds the highest US Foreign Service rank, Career Ambassador.
